The Smartest Gear is an independent review site for smartwatches, smart rings, smart home gear, and outdoor tech. We started it because too many "best of" lists are written from a spec sheet instead of a real test.

Every product we recommend is bought at retail, worn or installed in daily life for weeks, and retested after firmware updates before we change a verdict. No manufacturer sees a guide before it publishes, and review units get returned or disclosed.
